I have a Demon Slayer folder, I renamed the folder and did a rescan of my library, and no images are showing up for this series anymore. I did scan my library for any corruption but it seems ok. What is going on and what can we do to fix it?
This appears to be a variation of the issue I commented on here → Some Posters not showing up and disappears - #13 by dokuro which so far has been ignored by plex.
Plex at the moment appear to not like it when then top level folder containing a show/movie is renamed, it messes up the artwork.
This may or may not work for you but you can try edit the show/movie in question using the plex ui and select the poster and background tabs and then cancel to close the dialog. Then force refresh the metadata. The artwork should then reload correctly.
If that fails then a plex dance will be needed on the show/movie 
Thanks! Sadly the dance didn’t work. What worked was I changed the agent from Hamatv to tvdb scanner (Hamatv is super old agent now) and everything refreshed and updated magically. It prompted me to then update it to the Plex TV Series agent which I did and all is fine.
I previously had issues (and still am) with files name being recognised. But I will create a new thread on that.
