For several weeks now, my main movies library has been missing the alphabet picker on the right side when in Library view. It’s there for Collections. I’ve made sure to sort by title and if I filter by Genre, strangely some will have the picker but most won’t. I have several other libraries (4K Movies, 4K TV Shows, 4K Documetaries, Documentaries, TV Shows, Kids Movies, Kids TV Shows, Anime, etc) and they all have the alphabet picker when in library view. But of course, the main movie library with several thousand movies which benefits the most from being able to jump quickly to a certain letter, is the one missing it.
I’ve installed both the most current beta and public versions of PMS over the last few weeks with no luck. This is on a relatively fresh database, too. I did a completely fresh install of PMS, including rebuilding a new db about 2-3 months back. I’ve searched through the forums and reddit and all I’ve found is the same thing mentioned over and over, “it’s from the server and the client not working together” or something to that effect and to “wait until either version catches up” or something along those lines. I’ve done that and I’m at my wit’s end now. Please, someone tell me it’s a simple setting somewhere I’ve missed.
