Downloaded the new plex on PS4, looks a lot better than previous version BUT we have over 2000 movies on a server and the alphabet on the right of the screen has disappeared, thus we have to go through all of the movies in our library to get to what we want.
For example, if we want to watch World War Z, we can’t go to W on the right, we have to scroll down through the entire library to get there.
A fix would be appreciated.

I got curious so i just loaded it on my PS4. I had a previous version, removed it, re-installed. Checked and it was there. All of the lettering on the right hand side. The headers do say Recommended, Library, playlists, etc… If you are on the first of the tabs, you will NOT see the alphabet choices on the right. As soon as you go over to Library, they all appear.
I also tried it on our 2nd PS4 that never had it on there, and when i linked my account, it also gave me the option of Preview of newer version. Dont know if this is the version you were looking at or the default. Either way, same behavior. everything was there.
Worst case as a workaround. if you know what movie you do want to watch, you can always do the Search option to get you there instead of scrolling through the whole list. Not saying its a fix just a workaround.
Meanwhile, remove the app from your PS4, go into your Saves Data (For applications), remove your Plex save information. From your PC go into your plex and disconnect your PS4 as an authorized device. Re-Download the PS4 app, connect, re-authenticate and take a look again.
