I restored back to a previous Plex Server Version 1.18.8.2527 and it started working again. I guess I will stay on this version until the issue gets fixed.
Since starting this discussion I have done no changes other than what I had stated I messed with in the original post. I noticed my movies would not fetch when I had my VPN on. TV Shows would fetch regardless of the VPN being on or off.
I turned off my VPN and Plex was able to fetch all 1200 of my movies perfectly fine. However as of a few days ago, everything is now working fine with the VPN on. Movies fetch now just like TV Shows with the VPN on.
All said and done I have no idea what was wrong or what changed. I did nothing all my settings are the exact same as they have always been, maybe it was something to do with Plex on the back end, or maybe it was something going on with the Agents.
Has anyone upgraded to new internet or routers? I just did and I thought maybe that was my problem since it didnāt happen until the day after I set everything up (for me it wasnāt the cause). When I looked around, I did see some people were reporting problems with certain routers blocking certain incoming traffic that Plex needed.
Just a thought if this could be the cause for someone.
I did download the new server update and I am currently on Version 1.18.9.2578, everything is working fine behind a VPN
