Moving Plex Server to another PC

I been using a HP EliteDesk 800 G2 as a server and is very good BUT, I create my own windows 10 pro custom iso and removed windows defender, Is no way to install defender now so I have to wipe everything and reinstall windows 10.

I have setup Plex just the way I want and so far is perfect, I wonder if there is a way to back up the Plex Server Installation and Restore it after installing windows 10 again, all my media is in hdd separated from the ssd where the OS and Plex is running from.

Any help would be great…

You’ll need to save your Plex data folder and some Windows registry settings.

See the support doc below. You’ll perform the same steps, just in a slightly different order.
