I’m new to using Plex Media Player & I’d like to know how to set up the software to replay my film media which has Multi Channel / DTS / Atmos etc encoding. My PC is wired to my Sony Atmos Amp via HDMI.
Any Guidance would be appreciated

set Settings > Audio > Device Type to HDMI and afterwards check all the audio types you want to pass to your amp without further tampering.

Make sure you are actually using Plex Media Player (PMP) and not the web browser Plex app.
PMP is a separate download, available below.
If you did indeed install PMP, be aware that it has 2 modes: ‘Desktop’ and ‘TV’.
The settings @tom80H is speaking about, are only visible when you switch to the TV mode of PMP.
You can do that by clicking with your mouse on this icon:

or
that you cannot set anything on it?
What type of Plex client are you actually using?
i only have this screen and cannot set anything! i using xbox and samsung TV for the client!
This thread here is about the Plex Media Player.
Neither the Xbone, nor the Samsung app can be compared with it.
