Multiple libraries with the same content does not separate viewed violators

I have 2 sets of libraries for my media: SD/HD/FullHD under TV Shows and Movies, and 4K TV and 4K Movies. I have lots of dupes as I want both the HD/FullHD and 4K versions of both, depending on what device I’m watching. The problem is that if I mark something in HD/FullHD as having been watched, then go and add that same content in 4K, it automatically gets marked as unwatched even though it hasn’t.

If I go and marking as not watched, then it will mark it for both. How can I split this flag so that it only saves for the specific library I’ve marked, as opposed to an all-or-nothing approach?

The watched status is tracked by the agent you use to match the movie. If you want them separate, use different agents for the 2 libraries.
