My plex server is now unusable. It crashes every few minutes.
I have tried searching for the .dll files in this article https://support.plex.tv/articles/206910047-windows-repeated-crashes-of-plex-media-server/ through file explorer, because the problem described is similar, none seem to be in my system. I ran my antivirus multiple times.
I also downloaded the latest version of the server from the plex website and installed it (clicking on repair since it was the same version installed). I signed-in/signed-out multiple times. I optimised the data base, cleaned bundles and emptied the trash. I also uninstalled and re-installed multiple client apps that interact with the server. I also rest all preferences to default. The only thing left I can think of is to uninstall the server app and reinstall it. I am hesitant to do this because I have no guarantee this would solve the issue and I do not want to lose the hours I spent organising my music collection
If this helps, the problem started when trying to play HEVC .265 files through the Roku app. The server would crash each time, but all other files were able to play without issue. I was able to play the same files without issue in the desktop windows app. The crashes then became progressively more frequent regardless of file type or app used. Now the server crashes every 2min after restart.
I am not the most techy person out there, any help, with simple and complete explainers would be appreciated.
I have a lifetime Plex pass and use an Intel i7 9700 Windows 10 Version 1.18.2.2058
