Multiple program guides for cable/off air?

Hi there…I am on service electric cable here in PA and have been testing for a month or so with Plex and my HD HomeRun with cablecars. I just received a HD HomeRun Quatro and hooked it up yesterday. The server found it a-ok and it works but the channels I pick up off the air are not all on the cable service. How can I get the correct program guide for the off air as well as keep the cable guide?

Have the latest versions of the server running in a HyperV Windows 10 guest.

Thanks leon

Not currently possible but is on Plex’s radar to implement.

oh :frowning: any idea when? Interesting that on the Mac client the channels do not show up correctly but on the android and windows it does. On the Mac it uses the channels I used for the existing OTA channel which exists on the cable service. weird.

How do they do OTA guides now if there is no cable service?

Thanks

Plex doesn’t publish timelines or roadmaps So there’s no way of knowing when.

At the start of the DVR set up you must choose OTA or cable and then it goes from there based on ZIP Code.

got it…I guess a workaround would be to create multiple DVRs on Plex and that way one could be cable and the other OTA.

I stand corrected on the android guide shows cable I guess it was when I was using the HD Homerun app that it had the right channels and somehow it integrated the cable guide too

Hi Again…in the meantime is there a way to create multiple DVRs? Searching around it seems to indicate it could be done in the server but I don’t see it on the Live/DVR page.

Thanks leon
