IN almost all cases when I have 2+ versions of the same movie (say, different resolutions), they stack with the number of versions showing in a flag in the upper left corner. Recently, I changed the sort names of my 4 Avenger movies (I like sequels to show chronologically, not alphabetically), making sure that the sort names were identical between versions, and now these four movies are no longer stacked, i.e. Plex is showing each individual copy, and I can’t tell which is which by looking at them.
How do I get them back together like all the rest of my multiple-version movies?
Display all of them on the same page, select each one with the little circle in the upper left area of the poster, click ‘the pencil’ - upper right of the page - Select Merge.
If they’ve been ‘Split’ previously, matched with Different Agents, or any number of other conditions - Plex won’t Merge them automatically.
