I have just started using PLEXamp a lot, both on my iPad mini 2 and Samsung Galaxy s9.
I have found on occasion (maybe every 8- 10 songs or so) the music “skips” or drops for a microsecond, it’s enough to be noticed and if I replay or go back on the track before it skips, the skip isn’t there.
This has happened both on the iPad and Samsung. As of right now, it’s only happened while using Bluetooth connected headphones, I listened for several hours yesterday with just the iPad speakers and no skips or drops were present.
However, this seems to be an issue I’m only having while using Plexamp as I’ve never noticed anything like this happening before on either device when using the regular Plex app or any other music streaming service, which I’ve used for hours on end.
The next step is to download a ton of songs to the devices and see if it’s just a “steaming” issue over Bluetooth or an overall Bluetooth issue.
Just curious if anyone else has had this issue, and if there are any steps I can take to try and prevent it from happening in the future.
