Music "skips" When On iPad and Switching Back To PLEX Amp

I have recently been using my iPad a lot with PLEX Amp … I use the split screen feature built into iOS and have the PLEX Amp on one side and the PLEX Dash on the other … It IS as awesome as it sounds BTW … lol

I have found that when switching from other apps (email, safari etc) back to the PLEX Amp / Dash screen, the music “skips” or drops for a micro second … certainly enough to be noticed.

Thanks so much for the awesome apps … it really is innovative in so many ways

Out of curiosity, what model is your iPad (e.g. what year)? Just trying to figure out how old. Also, can you DM me a debug log right after the stutter?

I have been using an iPad Mini 2 to stream music to my home office and I have been encountering a similar issue. However, in my case, I don’t even have to be switching between apps. Once every few songs the music will drop/skip for a micro second and then pick back up again. If I rewind or restart the song, the skip isn’t there.

I haven’t experienced anything like it while using plexamp on my android phone, so far it’s only been an issue on my iPad.
