Music not going in correct category/genre

I have used MP3Tag to correct and generalize my music files. For some reason in about 1/4 of the files aren’t going where they should. For some reason Plex ignores or doesn’t read the tags and puts them in “Unknown” or “Various” even though they have been fixed. If it were just a few it would be ok, but my 1/4 of my mp3 files is honestly just shy of 11,000 files. Anyone know why the program is picking and choosing here?

Plex uses the ‘Album Artist’ metatag much more than other software.

Whenever you have a folder full of unclassified music
or if you have an album with guest musicians
(i.e. every time when there are different ‘[Track]Artists’ set)
you must set the ‘Album Artist’ meta tag to an identical value for all tracks which make up an album.

After correcting metatags, the Plex Dance “light” is required.
(“light” means, step 4 can be omitted)
