I’m having music playback issues after the first album has completed. When I attempt to play another album/song it shows as if its playing, but there is no sound. I have to restart my Nvidia Shield to get it working, but the problem re-occurs. Playing from PC to Shield (connected to receiver). Never used to have this problem. Tried disconnecting shield from receiver, and playing through tv, same problem. Plays through Kodi app no problem. Any thoughts as to whats causing this problem?
Is it possible that the Shield is going to sleep after the first album finishes? There’s a problem that has been going on since August. They’re working on it, but it appears to be a puzzle.
Now that I think about it, I believe it does go to sleep after completing the first album. Thanks. I will double check the sleep thing. Thanks heaps. Driving me mad trying to fix.
Until they find a fix, the quickest way to recover when it happens is to kill the Plex app and restart it. From the Android home page, doubleclick the ‘O’ button on the remote to bring up the list of active apps, then close the Plex app. When you re-launch it, the sound should work.
