I have a shitload of music videos and have included them in my media server. Not all are showing up. Using Plex .9. My folder structure is /Music Videos/80’s Top 40 Hits/Alan Parsons Project - Don’t answer me.avi. , etc…Should this be different?
What should I use for the scraper? (music, TV Shows, Movies)?
If you don’t care about metadata you could always scan them in as “personal media” videos under a movie section. If they’re MP4 you could tag them with local metadata that way and move the local asset scanner higher than the metadata ones then you get the metadata. If those video’s aren’t on themoviedb or imdb it likely won’t scan automagically. you might want to read this
