My Cloud Server App Updating

I use MyCloud PR2100. I feel like plex is asking me to update the app every week. Is Plex really doing that many updates? If I do not do the update after a few weeks Plex cannot connect to my server.

Also is there a way I can get the server to auto-update Plex like dropbox does?
