Im having trouble accessing my plex server on my mac
Can anyone help?
Can you access to your server using its local IP address?
Is the server signed in or have you maybe recently changed your password, clicking the sign-out devices option (which will also sign-out the server)?
I take it this isn’t specific to your Mac but all devices which want to connect through a browser… do you experience the same when accessing your server through another Plex app (e.g. Plex for Mac or on a phone / big screen TV)?
No its just the mac , its the first time trying to set it up to the network , all other devices on the network work fine
Its just Mac isn’t my main driver and i think im just having trouble granting permission to mac to access the shared folders
When I’ve asked earlier, if you can access your server from other devices, your response was you only cannot access it from that Mac.
Let’s take one step back to understand the big picture.
Can you briefly explain your setup? MARC-PC is another device inside your home network… is that Plex Media Server accessible from any other devices?
I suspect we were talking about this from different angles.
If you can see your Plex Media Server from MARC-PC on a different device (other than this Mac) while it’s not accessible on the Mac from which you’ve made the screenshots ,there’s probably really something about your network setup.

Marc-pc is the media server
Which is Accessible from all other windows devices
And yes the screenshot are all from the mac
Keep in mind that in this case you’re talking about two separate connection problems:

Plex Web running on this Mac cannot see/access the Plex Media Server (which is supposed to be fully functional elsewhere)

The Mac itself failing to establish a direct connection to the Windows machine on which your PMS is running.
As for #2 you might want to look into the Mac’s privacy / security settings and verify you’re allowing the machine (or certain apps) to access the local network.
As for #1… I take it you experience the same if you’re installing the Plex desktop player (Plex for Mac) or Plex HTPC on this Mac?

Your mac seems to have general problems connecting to that marc-pc even outside of Plex. Your screenshot of the "There was a problem connecting to the server “marc-pc” error indicates this.
You may just need to restart the Mac and/or the PC if they used to previously work

Have you tried my first suggestion of just restarting both computers?
Yes , still not working
Then I would maybe turn off firewalls/antivirus, etc on both computers temporarily and see if that fixes it. If it does fix it hen you know one of those things is causing problem and you can start turning them back on, one by one, to see which it is.
