Plex is installed on a HexOS/TrueNas core server. My laptop can access the library directly through the website, but my phone cannot. My phone and my tv cannot access the Plex library through apps or through browsers, but if I disconnect my phone from my LAN it immediately can access the library remotely. As I’m hoping to stream to my TV this isn’t great. Does this have something to do with Plex needing to approve their IP addresses?
I had to click “Host Network” under the port in TrueNAS settings to get mine to work. They don’t recommend it, but I couldn’t get it working any other way I tried.
