I have plex on a 220+ Synology Nas and i want it to read movie from another Synology Nas (218+)
I have setup a distant folder from the 218 to the 220, and it work fine on filestation, i can see and read everything no problem.
But, plex can’t seem to find the fils in this folder, i added it to a library and nothing pop up when i scan it
i have already checked every permission but nothing work
anybody succeed ?
Betting its a permissions issue, make sure that the plex account has the correct permissions to the mounted share.
Sounds like a typical permission issue.
Either your Plex user doesn’t have the right permission to access the folder (disk/nas) or there is an ‘issue’ with permission accessing the other Synology
(on dsm 6.x) The user (group) Plex should have Custom permission
On 7.x the user/group Plex got another name
(Im no expert on this in anyway though)
