Player Version#: 4.8.3
I do not have any logs as I do not think the server is the issue. I have posted in other places and gotten no ingagement so I thought I would try here.
My plexamp will start up in a blank state. There are no buttons to press, no interface to use, nothing.
I have uninstalled, reinstalled, wiped all files from the system, even tried deleting windows registry entires for this application to get it to work or just to get it to go to a rebooted state.
If there are any tips you have on where to start debugging this, where I can find logs for the application, anything at all, it would be amazing. I know that this is not a version issue for the client, as I have not had the same issue on my laptop, and it has the same version. I have also tried downgrading to different versions and it still happens.
All of my music is in plexamp and I really do not want to go back to spotify (nothing wrong with it, just not my preference)
See this is the odd part. I tried looking there for the logs, but there are no logs. There is no folder in the AppData\Local directory! There is one in the Roaming directory however.
No, I am using the most up to date version of windows 11, I have not configured roaming user profiles either. There is a C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Programs\Plexamp directory however, but no logs in there that I can find
That folder is the program folder. There are only executables in there.
User data and logs go to AppData\Local\Plexamp. The fact that it’s not there at all indicates some major fault right after installation.
Do you use a 3rd party anti virus software, or did you perhaps enable “core isolation” in the device security settings of Windows?
