My TV won't stream from plex since update

So im using a MID 2012 Macbook Pro with High Sierra, before updating plex I could stream videos I had downloaded to my LG smart tv no problem, but now the TV wont load any Libraries any more. Any suggestions?

mind sharing some more details?

  • What version of Plex Media Server do you have installed on your Mac?
  • Are you using the native Plex app on your LG smart TV or a DLNA client (e.g. LG’s native “Videos” app)?
    • if you’re using the native Plex client… which version do you have installed?
  • Is this a LG Smart TV with their WebOS platform/firmware – if so, what version of WebOS is installed on your TV? (the native Plex app requires WebOS 3 or newer)
