NCIS episodes showing up under NCIS

New episodes for NCIS are showing up under the new show NCIS Hawa’i. Any idea why? I looked at the MP4 file properties and it doesn’t include the show name.

This is what the directory tree looks like.

Correct spelling and naming.

/NCIS (2003)/Season 19/NCIS (2003) - s19e02 - Nearly Departed.mp4

/NCIS Hawai’i (2021)/Season 01/NCIS Hawai’i (2021) - s01e02 - Boom.mp4

Plex Dance after renaming all episodes in both shows. Put them back into your library one show at a time.

If that does not work, put the TVDB ID in the show folder (not episode ) name.

/NCIS (2003) {tvdb-72108}/…
and
/NCIS Hawai’i (2021) {tvdb-401630}/…

Edit: Following up on @shark2k’s comments, both matched on my server without needing the TVDB ID.

What @FordGuy61 said regarding your name should correct the issue. I’m pretty sure you having 2021 for the original NCIS as the year is causing it to match to Hawai’i. The reason I believe this is that I have all the NCIS series on my server and they all showed up properly just using the proper naming convention. Pretty sure you won’t need to use the TVDB ID suggestion after you follow FordGuy61’s step.

Thanks… I when I previously looked at the naming guide, it wasn’t clear if it should be air-year or premier-year. I’ve updated my MCEBuddy script and cleaned up the tree. We’ll see what happens next week.
