Need help after DSM 6 to 7 Migration

Hello guys,

I’ve a problem after upgrading from dsm 6 to dsm 7. I’ve followed the guide here:

I’ve uploaded the 2 logs folders from Plex and PlexMediaServer.

Help would be very appreciate

I don’t see any logs attached to your posts

  1. Please look in the Plex shared folder. Confirm there is no “Library / Application Support / Plex Media Server” shared folder anymore.

  2. If the “Plex” shared folder is empty – migration was successful.
    – if not, then we need set permissions (again) on the Plex shared folder and repeat migration to DSM 7

  3. Presuming migration completed ok
    – The easiest / quickest way to reclaim ownership of PMS following migration is using the “Plex Claim Token” method shown here

Ok so now I’ve my Plex folder empty, only migration.log inside

But now I can’t open it

Please stop Plex in package center.

Using Filestation,

  1. Navigate PlexMediaServer/AppData/Plex Media Server
  2. Right-click “Logs” → Compress to Logs.zip
  3. When finished compressing, Download to your computer
  4. Attach that ZIP file here.

I’ll look at what’s going wrong
