I have had plex up and running for a long time, but I just did a fresh install of windows 11 for other reasons and I cannot get plex working on this computer now. I have tried doing a clean install several times now, deleting the registry many of the times and nothing seems to be working. When it downloads it says I do not have permission to use this server. I can delete my name from the registry per a support article, but it doesn’t let me change server settings and as soon as I close out it happens again next time I open it.
When I try to run “setup plex.html” it eventually just says it ran into an error, make sure the server is running and try again. by that time I am not authorized for the server.
What other steps can I take?
