Need help restarting a server after a friend clained my pc as a server

I was invited to plex by a friend. I guess during setup somehow I started my server under his account. I deleted my account, all my media from plex and reinstalled the software using a new account but I can’t start a server now, when i go to add media it keeps telling me to install plex media server despite already have a freshy installed version.

Ok I tried this and I’m still having the same issue. It is telling me to install plex media server despite having it installed already.

Are you doing this on a Windows Server edition?

Yes windows server edition. I have tried 2.2 now as well and still having the same issue

ok I have solved my issue by deleting registry and reinstalling
