The Tube and Plex Android TV app are not a good combination at the moment. As ChuckPa said … send it back and wait until the Pro is available again. Here is an extract from the topics:

Hi im using the latest Plex Pass PMS on my DS918+
Using the latest beta on my 2019 Shield TV (Tube). Using the the new player with Hdmi passthrou (Sound), Resolution and Framerate switching on, the Player crashes. This only happens with 4K movies. MKV 4K Bluray Ripps with external srt subtitels and AC3. Player shows direct play.
Same happens when using the old player.
Only way to play is old player and using optical AC3 Passthrou without Framerate switching.

My (2017) shield has buffering issues with all direct-play high bitrate remote content exclusively using the official client and the new player. I’ve been able to narrow down the issue to those specific circumstances. The Kodi plugin on the same device works fine, as does turning the new player off in the official client. With the new player enabled, the video only plays for 10-15 secs before entering a constant buffering loop.

Running the newest Plex Server beta and newest shield 2019 beta client. I have attached my Shield logs to this post.
When ever I go to rewind a show or movie it just stays paused and then eventually crashes. It happens at 6:28 in the log file. This seems to be a newer issue. My other clients don’t have the same problem, but they aren’t android tv.
