NetComm NF10WV router reserves port range 22456 to 32456 for RTP protocol in VOIP services

Remote access to Plex server is on port 32400. As mentioned in the “Troubleshooting Remote Access” Support Article; the mapping for the LAN/internal port must always be 32400 (TCP).

The router I have does not allow port forwarding to that port as it is within the range that it has reserved for RTP protocol in VOIP services.

Please can anyone help with a work around?

Create a manual port forwarding, using an external port number of your choice.
Then inform Plex about which port number you’ve used.
