I just updated Plex and switched over to the new library agents. Plex no longer sees any subtitles files including forced subtitle files.
Are these local subtitle file or ones you obtained using the old OpenSubtitle agent? The ones from OpenSubtitle are not supported and won’t appear with the new agent. if they are local files, they should appear. We’ll need more info to see why it’s not working for you.

Yes, these are local srt files. I have MOVIENAME.eng.forced.srt, MOVIENAME.eng.sdh.srt, MOVIENAME.eng.srt all stored in the same directory as the movie. When I pull up Playback settings I see “None” under subtitles. I do have the ability to ‘Search’ or ‘Upload’ for subtitles, but Plex doesn’t appear to be auto detecting the subtitle files. This worked before the Plex upgrade and switch to the new agents. Not sure where the issue lies.
just leaving the screen and going back to it should show new subs if i recall. you refreshed metadata for the whole library or just that one movie? ( just trying to see if i can reproduce)
seems to work fine here in a test library i just made.
Thanks for the help! I had refreshed the meta data for the movie and it didn’t do anything, but I just tried refreshing the meta data for the entire library and now the subtitles seem to be showing up again. Much appreciated!
