New Android beta claims DVR Live support. What's is the trick to get it working?

Changelog states mobile support, not seeing it.

ServerVersion 1.7.6.4058
Android Version 6.3.0.1090(b0508f15)
Nexus 5X most current N stock.
No options for Live TV

I’ve had to leave the menu open for 5 - 10 seconds sometimes over 30 seconds for the new menu options to show up. DVR & Live and Recording Schedule will be on the top. This is on my Google Pixel. Haven’t tried any other android devices.

Probably a good thing to get app logs to help the devs figure out what’s going on.

Weird and thanks. I timed it. 53 seconds for the menu option to show.

It doesn’t seem to get any better after the first heinously long wait. Ranging from 35-135 seconds for the menu to appear. I can open the app and play HDHR viewer as fast as I can click the menus. Of the few channels I’ve tested they all played fine.

Notice the release notes says (requires PMS 1.8+)

1.8+ is only required for time shifting.

The menu options for DVR & Live / Recording schedule show up very fast now. Sometimes its there when the menu opens or at least showing by the time the menu fully displays. They kinda slide in at the end of the animation.

It sometimes has problems playing channels that HDHR Viewer has no issue with. I think they need to merge his work into this.

iPad has same issue. Fails more often then it works so don’t feel bad. HDHR works much smoother.

Which doesn’t seem to exist yet from what I can tell.

The new build seems to have resolved the lengthy discovery issue. It now populates live TV nearly instantly.
