I had the same problem. Updated my Plex server to version 1.42.1.10060 and my Plex App on my Android to client version 2025.24.0.
Clearing cache shows my library again.
Same issue. Outside of my home network, the iOS app won’t show the libraries at all.
Server and App both up to date and I’ve tried all the suggestions listed so far and nothing works.
This happens on and off for me, was working fine a few weeks ago and now won’t show my media server as online.
I can access it fine from the browser on my iPhone just not the app.
By the looks of things, I may have to try rolling back the app and see if that fixes it.
Having this issue on my android phone app. Web app is fine, android tv plex app is fine, just the android app on my phone is affected.
By the sounds of it, Plex has done nothing to solve this. Of course after I got my lifetime subscription there is a new dealbreaking issue that seems to be persistent as well.
I can see the libraries in my “Favourite Libraries” but with the error “This library can not be found.” As I said, no problem at all using the libraries on my other devices.
Very frustrating and as a paying customer I would expect better.
There’s also bugs on all apple clients as well, which plex seems to be never fix in that stupid „experience“…
On all my devices I have to setup every single time after starting the App, that I have to first time setup which libraries are favorites.
Then watch a movie and tomorrow I have to re-setup again and again if I wanna have a Homescreen and watch a movie from my plex server. Kind of useless like this and started to use Infuse instead of plex app…
Yeah it is terrible. And no support from Plex available even though I am a lifetime member. And ppl have had this issue for 5 months.
