New issues with Plex at start (Plex setup always showing) and settings

Hi,
When starting Plex server a few days ago, SINCE THEN EACH TIME it is showing PLEX WEB SETUP.

At config it is now mentioned:
Any Plex Web settings and customization made in this Plex Web instance will not be synchronized with other Plex Web instances. This is because we have detected you have previously saved settings from a newer version of Plex Web.

Personal settings for showing at categories always LIBRARY and NOT RECOMMENDED are lost after each new start. Personalized size of thumbnails is also lost at every each start.

Any help and idea how to solve this and make Plex working again is very appreciated.

You are connecting directly to your server.

The version of Plex Web that ships with the server is always an older version than the hosted version at app.plex.tv.

That is why you are seeing the message.

The hosted version can be updated as needed by Plex. You can view a list of the changes in each version in the Plex Web announcement thread.

Plex Web uses cookies to store some settings. If you clear cookies or they are blocked, you will see the setup dialog.

If you have any cookie blockers, ad blockers, etc. then whitelist the plex.tv and plex.direct domains.

I am clearing my cookies several times every day since Cookies were born… :wink: There was never ever any issue with Plex after clearing all of them. Why now? Why should any settings stored in Cookies and not in installation of web server on C:?

I do not have any cookie or ad blockers. Using Plex at Windows PC only in Firefox. (Plex in latest Chrome has issues) - Maybe this is caused by one of the latest Updates of Firefox? (96.0.1 64-Bit)

EDIT 07.02.22: For at minimum three days now this message isn’t showing anymore. The only thing what happened was an update of Plex Server.
