Dose not show all Unplayed shows when filtering by Unplayed

I like the new version. Some feedback:
- Font sizes are too big. Preferred the old font sizing and font family.
- Would be better to have a screensaver that shows the current music playing and slide show of the artist art (or anything as background). Movies and tv shows on the screensaver when playing music is a bit strange for me.
- The controls in now playing is too big. Some features are also missing from the old one.

-Playback resolution uses remote quality settings instead of local quality. TV is on wifi
-some channels not registering the play command in the live guide view
-I have 4K and 1080 files of the same movies in the same library. For some movies with multiple files the app shows the resolution as 1080. When I select 4K under play version the server decides to transcode the 4K file down to 1080.
-scroll wheel support would be cool
I agreed the playback resolution is questionable and love to have pointer support
I found this option yesterday, and will echo other comments that overall this seems like a big improvement, especially in the overall speed and sharpness.
Some specific observations:
- No transcoding for subtitles on some movies that previously did, huge improvement
- Would be great if we could set burn subtitles to “never” since my NAS running PMS isn’t powerful enough
- Subtitles seem to use a different font - possible to allow a choice?
- Would agree with previous comments that outlined text would be easier to read, and more standard

- based on other comments maybe even make this something you could specify per collection

- lower default h264 level (4.1 vs. 5.1 in other client) as noted by others
- load spinner is nowhere 100% transparent, not sure if that’s by design
- TV series interface seems nicer, easier and more intuitive to switch seasons
- When watching a video that’s part of a video playlist, has options within the info screen
- Don’t remember seeing this before, nice addition
- One of my collections refused to load the “recommended” tab, but possible it’s an issue with my server
- Will agree with another comment in this thread that for those of us who only ever use one server, having it show us the server name everywhere (e.g. collection, screen saver, etc) isn’t helpful

First impressions it looks good. However the ability to change subtitle offset has been completely removed. Hope this will be reintroduced before final release.

Seems that new version does not filter out all played videos as previous version did. Have TV Shows library with majority of episodes played already yet the Unplayed filter does not exclude them. I can see that the show information shows all the episodes for that show are all played but they still show in filtered list.
Tried setting all episodes to unplayed and back to played but they still show up in filter. Not all TV Shows that are played show up, must be glitch in how this new version identifies played episodes.

Whole app is now bricked for me. The question for early access pops up for half a second then disappears, and you can’t click anything on the home menu after that.
So far, I’ve not had many issues on a C8.
But, where has the TV Show theme music gone?

Problem i am having is when I try to delete a video file with the new app it crashes/freezes. Then i have to force close app or play with back button repeatedly until the app display asks if i want close app and then i can select cancel. This takes a long time so i have reverted back to old app.
Managed to click the agree button before it disappeared, works now.
UI is nice so far, but 4k + truehd audio + srt subtitles still transcode. Thanks for trying, though.

I LOVE the new app! It is so much more responsive. How ever I found some problems with Live TV.
- From the “What’s On” view there are multiple channels that when clicked just shows a grey screen. The same channels from the “Guide” view just does nothing when clicked. These channels do work in the web GUI.
- The “Browse” view only shows that the server is unavailable even tough it most definitely is since I can watch movies and other stuff…
- The “Guide” view has the channels in a random order. It would be great to have them in the actual numeric order that they are delivered like in the web GUI.
I love the new app otherwise! Keep up the good work!
I’ve updated the original post to include some of the issues brought up here, it’s not an exhaustive list, but covers most of the missing features/issues.
Photos for the screensaver come from pinned libraries, if you don’t want images from a particular library to show up you’ll need to unpin it, at least for the time being.

I had The Big Bang Theory on while I was doing some things around the house and when the last episode of season 2 ended, the first episode of season 3 did not automatically start playing. I’m not sure if this is a feature or a bug but it is a bummer either way because I like to leave something on when I am at work so my dog has some noise and won’t bark at every little noise the neighbors make.
Other than that, the new app is getting on like a house on fire so keep up the good work, I have been enjoying the zippyness of it. 
EDIT: I just tested it with The I.T. Crowd and it did the same thing. All 6 episodes of Season 1 played automatically but when it switched to Season 2 I had to press play again.

Bug: “Unplayed” filter only displays shows that have 100% of episodes unplayed.

UI Issue: When showing the number of unplayed episodes, the new UI uses a black font on the orange unplayed indicator. This is far less readable than the old white font.
