Also the option to play subs slower or faster is gone.
Will does features return?

I noticed that you cannot download subtitles other than english ,Subtitle more steps to change it , no tv theme is played,
It would be nice to have option for screen saver to choose sources and have more control over it
HDR wont work, as mentioned it just buffers and buffers. But on most cases when the video works, the tv does not recognize/switch to HDR. Switched back to the non early access and the video played instantly and the tv recognize HDR instantly aswell. The post states that this is an hardware issue but its clearly not. I’ve never had a problem on this tv and any other device until now. It keeps buffering and if it shows its not HDR. Yet again switching to the old one and everything is smooth again.

Hey All. I cannt get my LG to work. Only way I can watch plex at min is via App on Apple tv. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
It seems that shuffle playing a TV show doesn’t work: the menu is still displayed and I can hear the video playing in the background, but cannot see it. (LG C8, latest firmware)
@Josh2018 - what’s your in app background like.
Mine looks naff and pixelated in the shading.
Background for 4 K Screens on LG OLED WEBOS 3. Pretty bad.
I like the speed of the interface. Would like to place the skip intro for TV shows myself and if we can have the option to hide the skip intro button and be able to assign it a button, that would be great but its not a high priority.
One thing I did notice was when switching to the commentary audio track on an episode of Futurama, the next episode that will have stuttering playback. Had to stop playback and restart to fix. This was repeatable on my TV, LG UH7700. Don’t recall it doing this before.
I am finding navigation difficult. The old(present) version was awkward in negotiating when a magic pointer would work and how, as well as other controls on the LG remote.
This preview version seems worse, with instances of the magic pointer simply not responding and unclear how, generally, the remote controls map onto screen controls.
An example, is finishing an episode of something, and trying to skip the credits to get to the next episode. It may be there but I cant find it.
An option to turn off the background image on the pre-play screens would be nice as I find it tends to confuse the options on the screen.
Generally I agree with cremor’s comments below

Early Access looks good and runs smother, but I am unable to change the order of my libraries and when I shuffle a show, it hangs on the shuffle menu while the show plays in the background.
For me it transcodes TrueHD all the way down to 5.1.
Is there any way to get it to leave it at 7.1 and preserve some level of ATMOS?
To re-order your pinned Libraries, select a library, scroll left and click. The rest is self explanatory
LG OLED65B9 WebOS 4.80.02.
I have to say I am impressed and this is a long awaited WebOS Plex player.
Finally I am able to play music FLAC files direct. Interface is very nice and easy to navigate equal to Plex Android version. I am sure by the time it is released as production it will be a very nice product. Thank you to Plex dev team. I have tried Music, Picture albums and home videos - all working and Direct play.
The only feature I would request/add is ability to do Slide Shows with user configurable delays and background music. Keep up a great work.
Same issue with not seeing my NAS.
Just to add that I had an issue with Plex where the current app could not see my NAS - it was driving me nuts but I eventually “fixed” it by typing in the NAS IP address in the manual server section. This “fix” does not work on the preview app, for me.
I had the same issue, you will need to revert back and opt out of early release this should fix the issue.

I’m having nasty audio sync issues. The audio is delayed about a second behind the video. This is regardless of the encoding. I had ran into these before, and downgraded my plex server to 1.18.2 (I can’t find the thread where I found that), but the downgrade worked. I’ve built a new plex server and the oldest I can go still has the same issues. I’m currently on 1.19.4.2935. I tried enabling the preview and it’s pretty slick. Quite an improvement. Is there anything you can do about the audio sync problem? If not here, where should I post the issue? I’ll be using my legacy server in the meantime.

I like the skip into option but in all my content the BRIGHT YELLOW button sticks out like a sore thumb. Maybe it’s because I watch on an oled, but it could/should be toned down, in my opinion.
Not a big fan of the horizontal presentation of seasons and so on, feels like there is a lot of space wasted now, even when it’s not even showing seasons posters.
Final gripe: still no functional EPG…
LG oled c9
Still stuck after instaling on screen “Select navigation” - big yellow button “continue” not works.
Im see 3 star rating for Plex app in LG content store - now i know why. Im dont add my “1 star” to this rating by only reason - its need to register in lg site just for this.
One other thing I noticed last night: casting from the Plex app on my mobile phone to the beta LG WebOS client did not seem to work
I’ve just tried it on my LG - absolutely brilliant job. It’s super fast and clean. Kudos to the team…
Yeah, I recently realised that movies with PGS subtitles will force your otherwise direct playable stream in a transcoded stream. For me it causes stutter and no audio. Always use SRT subtitles which don’t cause this (I guess because they are just text files).
