Hello! Looked through some similar topics but couldn’t find one that dealt with this exact situation so I figured I would just ask real quick. I was trying to add some local extras to a tv series folder that already has some extras recognized by Plex, but I can’t get the new additions to show up.
Here’s how the extras are organized in the server:
Meanwhile on the various Plex clients I use all I see under extras is this:
Any help in getting it to recognize the new additions would be appreciated! I have already tried emptying the trash and rescanning, as well as deleting the files and re-uploading.
Thanks for the reply! I’m not having any issues with the series itself, Plex was able to find and organize all of that stuff correctly. It is just the Part III textless opening and ending that aren’t showing up in extras, I have them labeled the same as their Part IV counterparts but for whatever reason they aren’t showing up. I made sure I was using the Plex TV Series Agent for the library it is in so I’m not sure why it wouldn’t recognize new extras dropped in.
I followed that guide originally, added -other to the end of my extras and it was able to pick up some but not all of them. I re-organized my files as follows:
And I am still running into the issue (I have tried with and without the -other suffix within the “Other” subfolder, with no apparent change in outcome)
