New movie file not adding to library

Server Version#: 1.42.2.10156
Player Version#: 1.110.0.235-4e48eb83

In the last week I have added 15 or so new movies to my library with no problems at all. Last night I tried to add one more and it will not show up in the library. I have rebooted the plex server as well as the Synology NAS its hosted on, as well as manually scanned the library files. Below is the log entry I can find about the movie, I am not sure what I am reading in the logs. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Plex is definitely aware of your file. It has extracted the genre and poster image from the file.

Check the file creation date of the file and make sure it is set correctly.

Go to your Movie Library and at the top left of the window, click on All and select Duplicates.

It is possible that Plex has grouped the new file with another file.

Click on the ellipsis and use Split Apart to separate the two files, then go and correct their details in your library, otherwise Plex may re-group the files.

It was grouped with another movie, not even close to the same name.

Many thanks!

No problem, I’m glad you found it!

Happy Plexing!
