I have recently tried to add the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special and RRR (2022) to my media library. Neither of them show up when I scan library files. A few other movies have worked without issue. I’m not sure what’s going on.

A good indication of this is if manually “Scan Files” is able to find the file and add it
That doesn’t appear to be the issue. I added To Kill a Mockingbird after the other files and that was added to my library when I did a Scan Library Files. The other two weren’t added.
I usually copy the data over and then do a manual scan to add to the library. Occasionally I’ll wait for the periodic scan if I’m busy doing other things.
I know that it isn’t a permissions issue. All the files are added the same way to the main folder(s). Only those 2 movies aren’t showing up. Movies added before and after are all working properly. I will check logs and get those uploaded this evening. For the Guardians Holiday special, I was unsure if it was TV or Movie and tried both categories.
Filter your library at the top left for duplicates
All extra info in a movie name should be in square brackets. That tells Plex to ignore it when it comes to matching.

Plex may use that information thinking that it’s actually part of the movie name and it may get matched to some other movie that gets hidden in your library under another name too
Plex dance the missing movies adding the square brackets and see if they show up
