As a paid subscriber to this service, I’d hope that the integration would work a little better. But it takes days/weeks before songs from Tidal show up in plex. Some songs from months ago are still not in plex. It kind of defeats the purpose of the integration if I have to seek out the song I want from another source.
I created a new thread to bring more attention to this issue that has been going on for about a year now.
Can someone get on this please?
Here’s a comparison of the newest releases in Tidal and in Plex. As you can see, the first several songs are missing.
@eadamss, thanks so much for posting! I’ve been having the same problem for a while now, too. I LOVE your example: it’s perfect. These playlists should match and everyone on the Plex team should be able to compare & see the issue without error logs.
I’ve posted similar questions in multiple threads without any recent response from the Plex team.
@anon18523487: You let us know of this Tidal limitation about a year ago, but can you speak into this more recent development where many new releases are not viewable from within Plex?
I’ve got a playlist of 60+ songs released since Mar2021 that still aren’t viewable in Plex. I check my list from within Plex everyday awaiting content, and occasionally one gets added. For a while, some tracks would arrive 3 weeks late in Plex, but lately, some tracks are still unavailable 3 months after release. Could the plex ninjas confirm this is intentional & expected behavior? Feels like something changed early 2021.
Thanks again for posting & reading. Would love to get this figured out. The integration is the coolest thing on the planet when it works.
Adding my voice. Very disapointed this doesn’t seem to have been answered by an employee yet. I recently moved to Tidal for the Plex integration, but if I knew it was this poor and had this and other issues i’d encountered I wouldn’t have bothered.
