New player download bug

Plex offers the option to sync (now called download) episodes from the server to the client for offline use. When I go to a TV Series, click “download” (down arrow in circle at the top right), I get options how many episodes to download. If I select “Next 5 episodes”, it starts downloading ALL episodes in all seasons, not just the 5 oldest, unplayed episodes. Same if I try other options under Download.

Extra: I would like to also see next 10, next 15 and all unplayed episode as options, but that is not part of the bug here.

Plex for Windows Downloading

Trying to download a few of my on deck shows to my Surface Go for offline viewing. However, when I select a show that I am watching S02 of it downloads S01. I tried selecting next, latest, and even all in hopes it would grab S02, however it only worked when I selected all, however I don’t want 30 episodes on the machine I only wanted five. EDIT: Decided to delete and start fresh after closing the program. I added another show that I have four unwatched episodes in. It then downloaded The alread…

Which begs the question, who tested this app?

On both Mac and Windows the same thing as well as Podcasts for a long time (reused code). Setting to download shows is literally the first thing I am sure people did after installing, it took all of 30 seconds to see that it did not work.
