Renaming some TV Shows using FileBot and looking for some information.
FileBot bindings for TV Shows Episode and Series are:
{episode.info} = TheTVDB::76119::7941931
{series} = TheTVDB::76119
{id} = 76119
Looking at what ChuckPa wrote to above:
The only FileBot binding that I am aware of that will give both Series and Episode is
{plex.derive{' {'}{episode.info}{'}'}
Return this:
NOVA - S47E13 - A to Z - How Writing Changed the World {TheTVDB//76119//7941931}
We canāt use semi-colons in MacOS paths, so they are automatically turned into forward slashes by FileBot.
Considering that TV Shows will have a Series number and an Episode number what format does Plex expect??
Thanks for any advance info!
@ChuckPa Regarding Filebot. Is the aforementioned plex ID scanning currently active for TV Shows? It doesnāt appear to be.
C. Will there be a new TV scanner ā YES!
Using {id} in FileBot when matching for Series (TV shows) doesnāt give a TMDBID or IMDBID it gives me a TVDB ID. Using FileBot {imdbid} or {tmdbid} with Series results in no ID.
{plex.derive{' {thetvdb-'}{id}{'}'}
The Daily Show - S26E31 - Bill Gates {thetvdb-71256}
Itās not. Iām eager for it too. ![]()
