New Plex app for Mac not connecting to server

Server Version#: 1.16.4.1469 (Synology NAS 415+)
Player Version#: 1.0.0.792-d4adb056
macOS: 10.14.6

I can connect perfectly fine to Plex on my NAS through the web app in Chrome. But when I log in on the new Mac Plex app the server shows as unreachable. When I retry it says " There was an error retrieving content.". The client shows up on the server as an authorized device. I have tried everything I can think of.

Does your local network have DNS rebinding protection enabled?

No, it does not.

Bugger. I’ll keep thinking on it but I am a bit out of ideas too.

I tried the Mac App again, and now it works. I have no clue why it suddenly works now, maybe the Plex server update?
