When will the server version of nvidia shield be updated to 1.41.2 or newer? Since the new player update, I can no longer access content on this server.

I’ve seen other forum shield users post screenshots of higher versions e.g 1.41.6.9685 on their shield devices, is this a regional issue and not made available to Australia yet? there are no updates available in google store for plex on my shield
I’m sorry this happened to you, but you should simply not upgrade the Plex server on shield as long as you can. Because when things go wrong (and they do go wrong frequently), the shield server is not at all well supported by Plex.
2 years ago there was another bug where it couldn’t connect to a directly attached external storage drive, and it took them MONTHS to resolve such a critical bug. Another recent update caused this: SHIELD Plex Media Server suddenly stops searching for content automatically And then after months of no replies, the thread was simply closed.
that’s frustrating as most home theatre installers in AU would still classify the shield pro as still one of, if not the best streaming device still in 2025 even given its age. Anyway my server still works fine on all other players just the mobile player for now until a server update is made available regionally.
