New Plex TV Series agent, wrong Wheeler Dealers!

Hi folks,
I recently upgraded and have been rescanning my libraries. When i match Wheeler Dealers it has a totally different running/series or that TVDB which is what i have used.

I understand there is a feature to fix this by rewatching with the TVDB id 18320, either with tvdb:18320 or the number on its own. Neither work for me and i get the standard no matches found. Ive tried messing with the agents a little with no success. Any ideas!!!

Name the folder Wheeler Dealers (2003) {tmdb-10710} and put season folders below that with their episodes in them

or in the fix match window use the IMDB id. tt1549918 in the title field

Thanks BigWheel, I tried this and tvdb81320, it found the show on both occasions. BUT, on updating it didn’t change my season 17 (or any other) to the correct shows on either TVDB or IMDB, any more thoughts?

Hi Dane, thats for this. I took a look at TMDB and this is where it must be currently picking up the data from. My season 17 is TMDB season 21. Don’t want to get into redoing all of this. Can this same approach be used with IMDB or TVDB?

Yes, and taken from this support article

If you are using the “Plex TV Series” agent, you can optionally include the TMDB or TVDB show ID in the folder name to improve matching. 
If you choose to do that, it must be inside curly braces: 
ShowName (2020) {tvdb-123456} or 
ShowName (2020) {tmdb-123456} where 123456 is the show ID. 
An example can be found at the end of the article.
