A few days ago, I installed the PLEX server on a Windows 10 system and successfully used it. Now, I have switched to a new Windows 10 system (on another computer), and when I try to log in to the server again, it shows that my media library is invalid. I deleted the media library, but now I can’t find anywhere to reset or retrieve it. Also, I would like to know where I can download the PLEX Android application and an app for Android TV, other than Google Play& Amazon. Thank you.
Did you install Plex server onto the new computer?
Was the old computer still running?
You can always find the latest version here for sideloading: Plex for Android - #508 by PlexAndroidReleaser
Did you install Plex server onto the new computer?
YES.
Was the old computer still running?
NO,ALREADY CHANGED TO OTHER SYSTEM.
- remove the old server from here: https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/devices/pms
- use this guide to claim the new server: New Claiming Requirement for Windows
- you might have to reset your Plex web app, so it uses the libraries of your new server on the Home page and in the side bar: https://support.plex.tv/articles/customizing-plex-web/
