Howdy all!
I have been using Plex Media Server with no issues on a W10 box for about a year now and am in the process of upgrading to PMS on Unraid. Both the current W10 box and the new Unraid box are on the same LAN, which is behind a router running pfSense. I used the setup guide on Harvey Delaney’s blog, located here:
Note that I used a claim token as described in Harvey’s guide.
Everything was running swimmingly until the point where I needed to complete the server setup by launching the webGUI from the Docker interface, at which point I was confronted by the “Not Authorized - You do not have access to this server” message.
I can log into my Plex account and see both servers on the list, but only the W10 server is accessible. The Unraid server spins and remains at “Plex is currently unavailable”
Things I have tried:
-uninstalling & reinstalling the PMS (no effect)
-Different browsers (no effect)
-Different machines (no effect)
-Different Plex accounts (I get a server login page for the new server IP but then I get to the Plex web interface and server shows as “Plex is currently unavailable”
I’m new to Unraid and Docker so it’s entirely possible I’m missing something fundamental. Any assistance anyone can provide is very welcome.
