Does that mean you can access the plex server on your Mycloud now (even though it is only at home)?
so i am dumping my files to the cloud that i recovered and it does not show on the sidebar on plex as it did before i was moving my files. The server does show in the authorized device list . i am guessing that due to me dumping the files back is why it is not there ?

One issue after another.
Your media sources not appearing in the side bar is actually expected after decomissioning a server and setting up another.
You need to reset your plex client(s) and select a new ‘default server’.

Did you start moving your files back onto the MyCloud before you were actually able to access it?
I was able to access and see my server then started to move my files. currently see the server listed only under the Authorized devices and it shows enabled on the cloud but not on my options on the left hand side of the plex site
should i try removing the server from the users list on plex and re enabling on the cloud ?

yes i was . it was not there .
so i removed the server from the users list and re enabled on the cloud and it is not back and currently updating the contact in the movies folder.
Did you actually mean “it is now back”?

I propose you let it “do its thing” over night and try to diagnose the remote access issue tomorrow. It doesn’t pay to try and do all at once.
