New version iOS App can't click Chromecast button

I’m trrying to click the Chromecast button to cast a video to my TV, but nothing happens when I click the button. Am I missing a setting or is it broken? It worked today before I updated the app.

I ran into this too, and had to white list an address in my pihole. Start at this post and read down a bit for the explanation why. Close and restart the app and retry.
