did Merge disappear? what about Fix Incorrect Match?

I’ve got a tv episode that didn’t match to the series, and my only methods of fixing it are missing… :\

click on the …

I really do like the updated look and hope this is the direction all the clients are going in but i have to admit that these small non-distinct icons just drive my aging brain nuts. The IOS app is even worse where you have this small white icon and unless you memorize what the functionality is you have to guess every time you press it. I don’t know how many times I have initiated a sync on the IOS app because I couldnt remember what that white squiggly icon was supposed to do.

As far as the new discovery features that has always perplexed me in that shouldn’t discovery be more for finding titles you DONT have but might want instead of it just showing you what is already in your library? Lets say I was looking at the preplay screen for Indiana Jones and I click on the Harrison Ford image. I get Star Wars as a movie he’s in that exsists in my library. Well, I already know that. What would be really useful is for Plex to tell me what he’s in that I might not know about or haven’t seen.

Just to say I really like new GUI.

Well this is nice…i saw they added the ability to hide seasons at some point in edit - advanced on shows…but it didn’t work

Now it does and it is glorious

Me too! The best new feature imho is the ability to force stop playback in the now playing section and write a message to the user!
This gives us server owners a lot more control! So for instance if someone is hugging the bandwith altough you have told him a few times max 8 Mbit/s and no direct play of 25Mbit files you can end his stream with the message: Max 8Mbit/s remember

Gosh this new feature is awesome!

I’ve been very critic with Plex lately, but I must admit that I love the new GUI.

Just throwing in more support for the new Plex Web GUI. It’s absolute perfection, especially all the new info we get on movie view and the art layout. Thank you!

I don’t know about perfection but its a great step forward

Makes me wish I had season and episode backgrounds for more variety

I didn’t see this yet…have to check that out now.

Can’t wait for this to be pushed to public server version - looks great.

Or if you need to reboot a server you can give a message to each client viewing a show/movie to let them know the system will be down for 5 minutes. Really nice addition.

It’s looking smart but there are a few things I can think of that could be improved:

  • Sort out the artwork. I don’t mind the blurred background but the artwork sitting at the top often doesn’t display well
  • Can the sidebar shrink when you are on any page other than the Dashboard? Or just have a Collapse button that remembers your setting
  • Studio, Resolution, Audio codec logos, etc. Am I the only one missing these? I thought they gave a bit of polish to the Episode/Movie screens by sitting just beneath the poster.
  • Collections. I like that these show up on the Movie page, but shouldn’t they sit above the Related Movies section (after any Extras), as they are probably the most important relations to other content. While we’re on Collections, how about adding them to the search results?
  • You now can’t change the Season you’re browsing from an Episode page. It’s only an extra click now, but I found that handy.

Don’t get me wrong; I really like it. These are just a few minor things.

My go to message so far for users that leave something PAUSED for an extended period…

You can't leave it on PAUSE forever, you will ruin the VCR tape. Stream Aborted

Anyone knows how to get web app ver 3.0.0 when access the server directly (not via plex.tv)?

Can’t do it yet. Once the web bundle is part of the next server release you’ll have it. Usually it’s not a long wait.

You can’t currently. You will need to wait for the next server update to be released.
It will included the updated interface in the bundled version

That’s funny. Worse is some of my users would probably think it’s true.

I think he’s talking about settings - server - remote access - limit remote stream bitrate.

I must be blind in my old age, I am unable to see where the Stop Playback button is. (using Chrome as my browser).
