New Windows Player does not connect to server. Old player does

I wanted to play something on my Plex Media Player on Windows 10, the one which I normally use.
Suddenly there was an announcement on the app stating the ‘Desktop Layout’ was not going to be supported anymore and that I needed to download the Plex Windows App from the website. It auto-URL’d me there.

After downloading and installing, I just cannot connect to my own server anymore.

Anyone having this issue too?
Via Browser and old player it works fine, as well as via my Android phone.

Seems the new player does some HTTPS redirect whereas my firewall blocked that off.
It is working now.
