Newly added episodes are not recognized

Hi everyone,

I’ve been having the problem for a few weeks now that Plex no longer recognizes newly added episodes of series. Everything works fine with movies.
For series, I always have to update the metadata first and then the new episodes are added.
The naming scheme is correct so far and as soon as I update the metadata, the episodes are immediately recognized correctly.
Plex is running on a Synology nas and there have been a few updates in the meantime but the problem persists.

A common problem with Synology is the Notify table fills up.

If you’ve filled the table, and you did movies first, then music, it’s very likely you didn’t have enough space for TV

The solution is to increase the table size.
