I just found out about smart playlists and have been using them to help me in my mission to rate my favorite music tracks with 5 stars. I was making smart playlists to include chunks of artists from different genres with empty track ratings so when i would rate it with 1 star or 5 stars it would dissappear from the smart playlist and i wouldn’t try to rate an already rated track. It was working great until recently when I tried to change some filters to comb through another chunk of tracks but it has stopped letting me shuffle the filtered tracks when on the filter screen or even after adding the filtered tracks to a smart playlist. However, pressing play works just fine on the smart playlists. You can see the errors and some filter examples below.
I’ve tried to limit the number of filtered tracks, change filters around, re order the filters, and so on but I always get the error when trying to shuffle. I can add the filtered tracks to a normal playlist and shuffle just fine but it won’t updated the playlist after i rate tracks like the smart playlists do.
Am I going crazy or did this update break something with smart playlists? Any advice or input would be much appreciated.
